Since 2003, Healing Reins Licensed Mental Health Professionals, trained and certified with EAGALA, have been working to facilitate healing with horses through Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine Interactive Learning (EIL.). Our team works with individuals, couples, families and groups who may be seeking new avenues of personal growth, healing and relationship enhancement tools. By utilizing the relationship with the intuitive nature of the horse, humans are able to tap into the center of who they are and experience the ways they relate and respond to life.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) uses horses in the process of helping people. This cutting edge, accredited model is considered experiential therapy as it engages individuals cognitively, emotionally, spiritually and physically… in the moment. Clients are able to experience growth and learning in tangible, real ways which allows them to better apply that learning to other areas of their lives.
